Dena - Founder of first stages
Hi! I’m Dena, an early years professional of 5 years, a parent to 3 grown-up daughters and a fully qualified design and technology teacher specialising in food technology who has also trained in vegetarian cookery. I have a wealth of experience to offer from being a parent to a teacher and everything in between.
I believe that caring for children is very much a nurturing process and a partnership between parent and carer, whether that be a grandparent, relation, friend or a child care professional like myself. As we are all aware, parents are irreplaceable in a child’s life and how you want to bring up your own little nurtured mind is very much down to you. But, when you do that in association with all the people that will enter your child’s life, it can be a vibrant, exciting and richer place where everyone around your child is making a valuable contribution to creating a unique individual that is confident and relaxed in the world around them.
If you feel that your child will benefit from such child care, please do not hesitate to contact me by either ringing me or say hi via the contact page with any enquiries you may have or to arrange a visit.
Georgia - Childcare practitioner
Hello, I’m Georgia! I currently hold a Level 2 Qualification in Childcare with over 6 years experience in a childcare setting - 3 of which I spent working within a large nursery, caring for children from 12 weeks old all the way up to preschool (specialising in particular in the care of the under two’s). I’m often referred to as creative and lots of fun, frequently being found dancing or painting with the children. Organising and arranging new and exciting activities to stimulate and entertain the children is one of my main priorities - my favourite activity being messy play! I love unlocking the children’s imagination whilst engaging their natural curiosity and senses.
Trained in First Aid and Paediatric Safe Guarding.
